Perform a thrilling shoot-out with two players or practice your shooting techniques: I constructed this Subbuteo shooting arena for some table soccer action in-between times.
I covered the borders with foam to protect my little plastic men…
I made the pitch with d-c-fix Sticky Back Velours. It is not exactly Astroturf material but adequate for my purpose.

I have always been a table football fan: Back in my Ruhrgebiet childhood in the German 1980s, my younger brother I were playing Tipp-Kick every weekend. We cowered on the floor, asked ourselves why they call it a table(!) game, and listened to WDR 2’s live radio coverage of Bundesliga matches. These DIY-floodlights for Subbuteo provide a great atmosphere at my attic when I play a match of Subbuteo. You’ll just need a set of four LED spots and some pieces of wood to reconstruct them.
Well, the picture above needs some explanations: I used two strong neodymium magnets for each floodlight to create a flexible holder. I screwed one magnet (diameter 1 cm) on the pitch and one into the floodlight pylon.… Weiterlesen
In this gallery, I will give you some impressions about my Subbuteo Astropitch. In winter 2015, I mounted a self adhesive playing field on a MDF board and created wooden surroundings. It has been a great training capacity ever since.

It all started with a Pegasus astroturf pitch and a set of ad labels I bought from Subbuteoworld.
